CAUGHT IN THE ACT

My baby girl is by far the naughtiest Frenchie on earth.  Miss Bella knows that she is not allowed on the bed without her blankie or vigorously cleaning her paws prior to entry.  I have an all white bed after all, one set of high thread count sheets (working up to multiple sets) and there are rules gosh darn it!  These rules went out the window when I caught her in bed in the late afternoon, Bella loves any excuse to jump in bed, the best excuse being that I left the bedroom door slightly ajar. When I walked into the bedroom to put something away I found her in the exhibit 'a' photo above (see photo no. 01) trying to look as nonchalant as possible, "Oh, hello Mum, uhm, you look real pretty in that dress...". When she realized I wasn't going for her puppy dog eyes she acted as if she was getting up to leave.  I am impervious to a few things--Bella's big brown, marble eyes, the light in my bedroom in the late afternoon and the impulse to document both.  I know I shouldn't reward her bad behavior but she is so cute and the light, oh the light...After she realized she wasn't going to be flogged (as if), she rolled over on her back and enjoyed the shoot as only my naughty Frenchie could.

What a cute puppy! Is she really only 3 lbs!!! I didn't no frenchies were that small. Beautiful light and beautiful dog. Plus her pink collar is perfect.

Such a cutie!! I love Frenchies, (of course). ;)

Mel, she would be in love with you too, we call them love bombs she likes to play coy and when you given up on getting her attention she bombs you with affection.

Melanie, thank you for the sweet words, Bella is quite the comedienne, she always has us either laughing or pulling out our hair.

Oh Kailee! I have two dogs! One is 3 pounds and hates her photo taken (thus all the pics of Bella). George is my 3 lb dog. George is a girl. Can I tell you that if I had a lb Frenchie I don't know what I do with myself and all that cuteness!

Oui, Oui, Mlle. Susan, my Frenchie appreciates a good Francophile;)

I love love love her! No wonder you can't bring yourself to punish her ;) Makes me desperately want a frenchie (or just any kind of dog actually).

dying ! I have to wait until we move to get a puppy, but my dream dog is a frenchie, they are such little lovers! This makes me just want to be a rebel, break our "no animal policy", and get a little lover! so sweet!

That face is more than I can handles ... so cute! {I dare say, an unfair advantage in such circumstances}

Karissa + Ashley, Bella is adopted, I HIGHLY recommend trying to adopt a Frenchie (waiting lists are loooong but worth it). These little comics are such a handful that people get them and then put them up for adoption, we were Bella's THIRD home in the U.S.(she had one in RUSSIA of all places). I can't believe anyone could just love her as much as we do!

PJ, I love the pink ears too (coordinates with her collar;) and Amy, YES a totally unfair advantage, how can I flog her when she melts my heart with one coy look?

xx,

Miss B.

What brand/thread count are your sheets? I'm looking to buy a new white set. I want a really, really good set that will last.
